When I was young

there were no worries,

everyone got along

and evenyone was considered a friend

   when I was young

I would spend hours

playing with all my dolls and barbies

and go swimming everyday

   when I was young

I would spend every Christmas in Florida with my family

and I got to see my brother everyday

   when I was young

just playing outside was fun

and going to McDonalds was to play in the playplace

and to eat a happy meal

and not have to eat off the dollar menu

   whenI was young

gas was cheap

and we were not at war

   when I was young

there was not much to worry about.
